3 Rotary Transfer Machining Centers were developed to produce high volume precision aluminium components for automotive air conditioner couplings. The machines comprise of auto-feed saws and multi-spindle machining heads, able to perform multiple machining activities simultaneously, resulting in a cycle time of little more than the longest single machining operation.
This machine was produced from product drawing, through R&D, Design, Manufacture to commissioning in 6 months. It eliminates multiple stand-alone machinery and labour, WIP & batching, component reorientation and introduces cleaner, environmentally friendly methods. The machines come with integrated Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) for real-time OEE monitoring, as well as a powerful back-end tool for objective reporting and data analysis.
